  • 6 medium ripe tomatoes
  • 10 pieces fresh basil leaves
  • 3 pieces garlic cloves
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a medium-sized casserole dish with olive oil or cooking spray.

Step 2

Slice the tomatoes into 1/4-inch thick rounds and set aside. Finely chop the garlic and tear the basil leaves into small pieces.

Step 3

In a small bowl, combine the bread crumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, dried oregano, salt, and ground black pepper. Mix well until the bread crumbs are evenly moistened.
