  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Place a fine-mesh sieve or colander over a large bowl and line it with a double layer of cheesecloth or a clean kitchen towel.

Pour the yogurt into the prepared sieve, spreading it out evenly.

Gather the ends of the cheesecloth and twist them together to form a pouch. Secure the pouch with a rubber band or kitchen twine.

Place the bowl with the yogurt pouch in the refrigerator and let it drain for 12-24 hours, depending on how thick you want the cheese. Discard the liquid (whey) that collects in the bowl.
