  • 0.25 cups Parmesan cheese, grated (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

In a large pot or Dutch oven, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat, breaking it up into small pieces with a spoon as it browns. Once fully cooked, transfer the sausage to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess grease.
