Ingredients

  • 500 g Fresh prawns (peeled and deveined)
  • 400 ml Coconut milk
  • 1 medium Onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 medium Tomatoes (finely chopped)
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tbsp Fresh ginger (grated)
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1 tsp Ground coriander
  • 0.5 tsp Chili powder (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp Lime juice
  • 2 tbsp Fresh cilantro (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 100 ml Water

Directions

Step 1

Clean and prepare the prawns by peeling, deveining, and rinsing them under cold water. Pat dry and set aside.

In a large pan or skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.

Add the finely chopped onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened and translucent.

Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger. Cook for another minute until fragrant.
