Ingredients

  • 300 grams Beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 200 grams Green cabbage, shredded
  • 2 packs Ramen noodles (instant, uncooked)
  • 1 medium Carrot, julienned
  • 3 stalks Green onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Oyster sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 5 tablespoons Water
  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoons Red chili flakes (optional)

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, and 1 teaspoon of sesame oil. Add the cornstarch and 2 tablespoons of water. Stir well to create the sauce and set it aside.

Step 2

Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions, but undercook them slightly (about 1 minute less than recommended). Drain and rinse with cold water to stop cooking. Set aside.

Step 3

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced beef and season lightly with black pepper. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the beef is browned. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.

Step 4

In the same pan, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Then add the shredded cabbage and julienned carrot. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are crisp-tender.

Step 5

Return the cooked beef to the pan along with the drained ramen noodles. Pour the prepared sauce over the mixture and toss well to combine.

Step 6

Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, and 1 teaspoon of sesame oil to the pan. Stir-fry everything together for another 2-3 minutes to ensure the noodles and vegetables are fully coated in the sauce.

Step 7

Garnish with sliced green onions and a pinch of red chili flakes (if using) before serving. Serve hot and enjoy!
