  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add the diced onion, minced garlic, chopped celery, and carrots. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables begin to soften.
