Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1.5 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced jalapeños (seeded for less heat)
  • 6 slices cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 3 stalks green onions, finely sliced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0 tortilla chips or vegetable sticks, for serving

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.

Step 3

Fold in 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapeños, crumbled bacon (reserve a little for topping), and green onions (reserve a small amount for garnish).

Step 4

Transfer the dip mixture into an oven-safe baking dish and spread it out evenly.

Step 5

Sprinkle the remaining 0.5 cups of shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.

Step 6

Add the reserved crumbled bacon as a topping for additional flavor and a crispy texture.

Step 7

Bake the dip in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly on top.

Step 8

Once baked, remove the dip from the oven and let it cool slightly for 5 minutes.

Step 9

Garnish with the reserved green onions for a fresh pop of color and serve immediately with tortilla chips or vegetable sticks.
