Ingredients

  • 0.5 cups Warm water
  • 0.25 cups Plain yogurt
  • 0.25 cups Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 teaspoons Salt
  • 2.5 cups Whole wheat flour
  • 0.5 cups Bread flour
  • 1.25 teaspoons Active dry yeast

Directions

Step 1

Add the warm water, yogurt, honey, and softened butter into the bread machine pan. Ensure the liquids are at room temperature to prevent harming the yeast.

Step 2

Add the salt, whole wheat flour, and bread flour on top of the liquids. Spread the flour evenly to cover all the liquids.

Step 3

Make a small well in the center of the flour and add the active dry yeast into the well. Avoid letting the yeast touch the liquids at this stage.

Select the 'Dough' cycle on your bread machine and start it. This cycle will knead the dough and allow it to rise.
