Ingredients

  • 1 medium-sized (approximately 500g) Swede (rutabaga)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil

  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 cups Water

Directions

Step 1

Peel the swede using a vegetable peeler or sharp knife to remove the thick skin. Trim off both ends.

Cut the swede into evenly-sized cubes, approximately 1-inch in size. Uniform pieces will ensure even cooking.
