Ingredients

  • 500 grams Brussels sprouts
  • 2 tablespoons Ghee
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 clove Garlic (minced)
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoons Lemon zest

Directions

Step 1

Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow or damaged outer leaves. Slice large Brussels sprouts in half for even cooking, leaving smaller ones whole.

Step 2

Place a steaming basket in a large pot and add enough water to just reach the base of the basket. Bring the water to a simmer over medium heat.

Add the Brussels sprouts to the steaming basket. Cover the pot with a lid and steam for 7-10 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are tender but still slightly firm to the bite.
