Ingredients

  • 300 grams Ground pork
  • 200 grams Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Green onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut aminos
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon White pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 12 leaves Savoy cabbage leaves

Directions

Step 1

Finely chop the shrimp until it forms a paste-like consistency.

Step 2

In a large bowl, combine the ground pork and shrimp paste. Add the green onion, coconut aminos, ginger, garlic, salt, white pepper, and sesame oil. Mix well to combine all ingredients thoroughly.

Step 3

Carefully slice the thick core part of each cabbage leaf to make the leaves pliable.

Step 4

Place a tablespoon of the pork and shrimp mixture in the center of each cabbage leaf. Fold the leaf around the filling to create a small pouch, leaving the top open.

Step 5

Prepare a bamboo steamer or a regular steamer by bringing a pot of water to a simmer.

Step 6

Line the steamer basket with parchment paper or a few cabbage leaves to prevent sticking.

Step 7

Arrange the dumplings in the steamer, ensuring they are not touching each other.

Step 8

Cover the steamer and steam the dumplings over simmering water for about 15-18 minutes, or until the filling is cooked through.

Step 9

Remove the dumplings from the steamer and serve hot. Enjoy!
