Ingredients

  • 15 ounces canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 0.5 cup almond flour
  • 0.25 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 0.25 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 0.5 teaspoon sea salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 large egg

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large bowl, mash the chickpeas with a fork or potato masher until mostly smooth with some small chunks remaining.
