  • 6 large Fresh lemons
  • 1 cup Fresh mint leaves
  • 2 cups Ice cubes
  • 4 cups Cold water
  • 4 large Medjool dates
  • 2 teaspoons Lemon zest
  • 1 pinch Sea salt

Directions

Step 1

Begin by washing the lemons thoroughly. Using a zester or fine grater, zest two of the lemons to obtain 2 teaspoons of lemon zest. Set aside.

Cut all the lemons in half and juice them using a citrus juicer or reamer, being careful to remove any seeds. You should have about 1 cup of fresh lemon juice.

In a blender, combine the fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, and 1 cup of fresh mint leaves. Add in the pitted Medjool dates, cold water, and a pinch of sea salt.
