Ingredients

  • 500 g Ground pork
  • 1 cup Green cabbage
  • 3 Scallions, finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp Coconut aminos
  • 1 tbsp Fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 cup Almond flour
  • 1 cup Tapioca starch
  • 0.5 cup Coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine ground pork, chopped cabbage, scallions, coconut aminos, grated ginger, minced garlic, sesame oil, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed. Set aside.

Step 2

In another bowl, beat one egg and mix it with almond flour, tapioca starch, and coconut milk to form a dough. Knead the dough until it becomes smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes.

Step 3

Divide the dough into 16 even pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and then flatten it into a thin round wrapper using a rolling pin. Repeat with the remaining dough.

Step 4

Place a tablespoon of the filling mixture onto the center of each wrapper. Carefully fold the wrapper over the filling to form a half-moon shape, pinching the edges together to seal.

Step 5

Heat olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add dumplings in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.

Step 6

Once browned, add 1/4 cup of water to the skillet and cover with a lid. Allow the dumplings to steam for 5-7 minutes or until the water evaporates.

Step 7

Remove the lid and let the dumplings crisp up for another 2 minutes. Serve warm and enjoy your Whole30 dumplings!
