  • 28 ounces canned diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the diced onion, carrot, and celery. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables start to soften and the onion is translucent.
