Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 large Onion, sliced
  • 3 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup Beef broth (Whole30-compliant)
  • 14.5 ounces Canned crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup Banana peppers, sliced
  • 8 Romaine lettuce leaves
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Season the beef chuck roast with salt and black pepper.
