Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground chicken
  • 3 pieces Green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger, minced
  • 3 tablespoons Coconut aminos
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 12 pieces Napa cabbage leaves
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, green onions, garlic, ginger, coconut aminos, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Step 2

Trim the thick stems from the Napa cabbage leaves, taking care not to tear the leaves.

Step 3

Bring a pot of water to boil. Blanch the cabbage leaves for 30 seconds to 1 minute, just enough until they become pliable. Remove and immediately transfer to an ice bath to stop the cooking process. Pat the leaves dry using paper towels.

Step 4

Place a cabbage leaf flat on a clean surface. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture onto the center of the leaf. Fold over the sides, then roll up into a tight cylinder, securing the edges with a toothpick if needed. Repeat with remaining filling and cabbage leaves.

Step 5

Heat coconut oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the cabbage-wrapped potstickers and cook until they are golden brown on the bottom, about 2-3 minutes.

Step 6

Carefully add 1/4 cup of water to the pan and cover it with a lid. Allow the potstickers to steam for about 5 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked through.

Step 7

Remove the potstickers from the pan and serve hot. Optionally, serve with additional coconut aminos for dipping.
