  • 0.5 cup coconut aminos
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 0.25 cup orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 0.25 cup apple juice, unsweetened
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon arrowroot powder
  • 2 tablespoons water

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, combine the arrowroot powder and water to create a slurry. Stir until the powder is completely dissolved and set aside.

Step 3

Bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring occasionally.

Step 4

Once simmering, add the arrowroot slurry into the saucepan. Stir continuously to prevent clumping.

Step 6

Remove from heat and allow the sauce to cool slightly before using.

Step 7

Serve over your favorite Whole30-compliant dishes or use as a dipping sauce.

Step 8

Store any leftover sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
