Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 0.5 pound Ground pork
  • 1 large Egg
  • 0.5 cup (finely chopped) Onion
  • 2 cloves (minced) Garlic
  • 0.25 cup Almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons (fresh, chopped) Parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, and almond flour.

Step 2

Add the chopped parsley, salt, and pepper to the meat mixture, and mix everything thoroughly using your hands until well combined.

Step 3

Divide the mixture into eight equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about 3/4-inch thick.

Step 4

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 5

Place the patties in the skillet, making sure not to overcrowd them. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your skillet.

Step 6

Cook the patties for approximately 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are nicely browned and fully cooked through.

Step 7

Use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature of the patties reaches 160°F (71°C) to ensure they're fully cooked.

Step 8

Remove the patties from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.

Step 9

Serve hot with your choice of Whole30-compliant sides or in lettuce wraps.
