Ingredients

  • 500 grams ground beef
  • 1 medium, finely chopped onion
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 egg
  • 60 grams almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons, chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon, chopped fresh thyme
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard (Whole30 compliant)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, egg, and almond flour.

Step 2

Add chopped fresh parsley, chopped fresh thyme, dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until all ingredients are well combined.

Step 3

Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions. Using your hands, shape each portion into a patty about 2 cm thick.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.

Once the oil is hot, add the rissoles to the skillet. Avoid overcrowding the pan by cooking them in batches if necessary.
