Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground chicken
  • 1 cup, finely shredded Green cabbage
  • 2 stalks, thinly sliced Green onions
  • 2 cloves, minced Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon, grated Ginger
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut aminos
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 cup Almond flour
  • 1 cup Tapioca starch
  • 1 large Egg
  • 0.75 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup, plus extra as needed Water
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, shredded cabbage, green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, coconut aminos, and sesame oil. Mix until well-combined.

Step 2

In another bowl, whisk together almond flour, tapioca starch, and salt. Create a well in the center and add in the egg and water.

Step 3

Mix the dough ingredients until a sticky dough forms. If too dry, add more water a tablespoon at a time.

Step 4

Generously dust a clean surface with tapioca starch. Turn the dough onto the surface and knead lightly.

Step 5

Divide the dough into about 20 small balls. Roll each ball out into a thin circle using a rolling pin dusted with tapioca starch.

Step 6

Place about a tablespoon of the chicken filling in the center of each dough circle.

Step 7

Fold the dough over the filling to form a half-moon shape. Seal the edges by pinching them together. Repeat with the remaining dough and filling.

Step 8

In a large non-stick skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.

Place the pot stickers in the skillet, flat side down. Cook until the bottoms are golden brown, about 3 minutes.

Carefully add 1/4 cup water to the skillet, cover immediately, and let the pot stickers steam for another 5-7 minutes or until the filling is cooked through.

Remove the lid and cook for another minute or until the water evaporates.
