Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly oil it.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, almond flour, nutritional yeast, onion powder, garlic powder, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly with your hands or a spatula until all ingredients are well combined.
Scoop out about 1 1/2 tablespoons of the meat mixture and flatten it in your hand.
Place one nutritional yeast 'cheese' cube in the center of the flattened meat, then fold the meat around it, rolling it gently between your hands to form a sealed meatball.
