Ingredients

  • 500 grams ground beef
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3 large garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 200 grams mixed salad greens
  • 1 large tomato
  • 1 medium cucumber
  • 0.5 medium red onion

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

Step 2

Finely chop the onion and garlic cloves.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, ground cinnamon, salt, black pepper, and one tablespoon of olive oil. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Transfer the meat mixture onto a large piece of parchment paper. Shape it into a tight loaf or rectangular shape, ensuring it is compact to hold its shape during cooking.
