  • 2 pounds Pork shoulder
  • 1 cup Whole30 compliant BBQ sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut aminos
  • 2 tablespoons Avocado oil
  • 2 cups Almond flour
  • 0.5 cup Coconut flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons Green onions

Directions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).

Step 2

Rub the pork shoulder with onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Step 3

Heat the avocado oil in a large oven-safe pot over medium-high heat. Brown the pork shoulder on all sides.

Step 4

Add the coconut aminos and cover the pot. Transfer to the oven and cook for 3-4 hours, until the pork is tender and easily shreddable.

While the pork is cooking, prepare the buns. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
