Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound ground chicken

  • 15 ounces kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 15 ounces black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Directions

Step 1

In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté the diced onion and bell pepper for 3-4 minutes until softened.

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
