Ingredients

  • 1 package Pizza dough
  • 1 cup Ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Dried basil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons All-purpose flour (for dusting)
  • 1 large Egg, beaten

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.

Step 2

On a clean surface, lightly dust with flour. Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle approximately 12x8 inches in size.

Step 3

In a medium-sized bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, olive oil, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper. Mix until evenly combined.

Step 4

Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the rolled-out pizza dough, leaving about 1 inch of space along one of the longer edges.

Step 5

Starting from the longer edge without the border, carefully roll the dough into a tight log. Pinch the seam to seal it shut.

Step 6

Using a sharp knife, slice the log into approximately 12 equal pieces, about 1 inch thick each.

Step 7

Place the pinwheels onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.

Step 8

Brush the tops of the pinwheels with the beaten egg for a golden, glossy finish.

Step 9

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until the pinwheels are golden brown and bubbling.

Step 10

Remove the pinwheels from the oven and allow them to cool for 5 minutes before serving. Serve warm and enjoy!
