Ingredients

  • 1 ball (about 12 oz) Pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 cup Ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 2 tablespoons Heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh thyme leaves
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon Red chili flakes (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet in the oven to heat up.

Step 2

On a lightly floured surface, stretch or roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch circle. Transfer the dough to a piece of parchment paper for easy handling.

Step 3

Brush 1 tablespoon of olive oil evenly over the surface of the dough.

Step 4

Mince the garlic cloves and sprinkle them evenly over the dough for a flavorful base.

Step 5

In a small bowl, mix the ricotta cheese with the heavy cream, salt, pepper, and half of the thyme and rosemary. Spread the mixture evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border for the crust.

Step 6

Evenly sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan over the ricotta layer.

Step 7

Drizzle the remaining tablespoon of olive oil over the top of the pizza and add the remaining thyme, rosemary, and optional red chili flakes for a subtle heat.

Step 8

Carefully transfer the pizza (with the parchment paper) onto the hot pizza stone or baking sheet in the oven.

Step 9

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbling.

Step 10

Remove the pizza from the oven and let cool for 2-3 minutes before slicing and serving.
