Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.75 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • 0.75 cups milk
  • 0.25 cups unsalted butter, melted and cooled
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cups dried cranberries
  • 0.75 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoons orange zest (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Step 3

In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Step 4

Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients, and pour the wet ingredients into it. Stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix.

Step 5

Fold in the dried cranberries, white chocolate chips, and orange zest (if using). Ensure even distribution but avoid overmixing.

Step 6

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it out evenly with a spatula.

Step 7

Bake in the preheated oven for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with just a few moist crumbs.

Step 8

Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
