Ingredients

  • 400 g tofu (firm, cubed)
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp ginger (minced)
  • 1 medium red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 200 g broccoli florets
  • 1 medium carrot (julienned)
  • 150 g snow peas
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sriracha sauce
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 stalks green onions (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Directions

Step 1

Press the tofu between paper towels to remove excess moisture, then cut into 1-inch cubes.

Step 2

Toss the tofu cubes in cornstarch to coat them evenly and set aside.

Step 3

Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 4

Add the tofu to the wok and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy. Remove tofu from the wok and set aside.

Step 5

Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the wok, then sauté the garlic and ginger for 1 minute until fragrant.

Step 6

Add the red bell pepper, broccoli florets, carrot, and snow peas to the wok. Stir-fry for 5-6 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

Step 7

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, sriracha sauce, and water.

Step 8

Return the tofu to the wok and pour the sauce over the vegetables and tofu. Stir well to coat everything evenly in the sauce.

Step 9

Cook for an additional 2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.

Step 10

Sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Step 11

Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.
