Ingredients

  • 4 pieces large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 0.5 cup ham, diced
  • 0.25 cup green bell pepper, diced
  • 0.25 cup red bell pepper, diced
  • 0.25 cup yellow onion, diced
  • 0.5 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions

Step 1

In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Step 2

Heat a medium non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the butter. Once melted, add the diced ham, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, and onion to the skillet.

Step 3

Sauté the ham and vegetables for about 5 minutes or until they are softened and the onions become translucent.

Step 4

Pour the egg mixture over the ham and vegetables in the skillet, tilting the pan gently to ensure even distribution.

Step 5

Allow the egg mixture to cook for about 3-4 minutes until the edges start to set.

Step 6

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over one half of the omelette.

Step 7

Using a spatula, carefully fold the other half of the omelette over the cheese-topped side.

Step 8

Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the eggs are fully cooked.

Step 9

Slide the omelette onto a plate, cut in half, and serve hot.
