Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and line an 8x8 inch (20x20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.

Step 2

In a medium bowl, cream together 120 grams of unsalted butter and 100 grams of granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Mix in the vanilla extract, then gradually add the flour and a pinch of salt. Stir until well combined. The mixture will form a crumbly dough.
