Ingredients

  • 85 grams Unsalted butter (cold, cubed)
  • 125 grams Sharp cheddar cheese (grated)
  • 120 milliliters Milk
  • 1 large Egg
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon Paprika or smoked paprika (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, rolled oats, baking powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to evenly distribute the dry ingredients.
