Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Mirin
  • 1 tablespoon Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh ginger
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon Toasted sesame seeds

Directions

Step 1

In a small saucepan, combine the soy sauce, rice vinegar, mirin, and granulated sugar.

Peel and finely grate the fresh ginger, and finely mince the garlic clove.

Step 3

Add the grated ginger and minced garlic to the saucepan.

Step 4

Heat the saucepan over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the sugar dissolves completely and the mixture just comes to a boil, about 5 minutes.

Remove the pan from heat and stir in the sesame oil and sriracha.
