Ingredients

  • 500 grams Plant-based ground beef substitute
  • 200 grams Large spinach leaves
  • 100 grams Grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium Finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves Minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Freshly chopped parsley
  • 1 large Puff pastry sheet
  • 1 tablespoon All-purpose flour
  • 1 large Egg

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and cook until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.

Step 3

Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.

Step 4

Stir in the plant-based ground beef substitute, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until browned, about 7-8 minutes.

Add dried oregano, salt, and ground black pepper; mix well.

Add spinach leaves, allowing them to wilt slightly in the mixture, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
