  • 1 package puff pastry sheets
  • 4 links vegetarian sausage
  • 0.5 cup onion
  • 0.5 cup red bell pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon water

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a skillet, heat olive oil on medium heat. Add finely chopped onion and red bell pepper. Sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
