Ingredients

  • 120 grams All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 80 milliliters Lukewarm water
  • 60 milliliters Tomato sauce
  • 50 grams Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 50 grams Cherry tomatoes
  • 0.25 Bell pepper
  • 0.25 Red onion
  • 10 pieces Black olives
  • 0.5 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 5 leaves Fresh basil leaves

Directions

Step 1

Begin by preparing the pizza dough. In a mixing bowl, combine 120 grams of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of active dry yeast, and 1 teaspoon of sugar.

Step 2

Add 1 teaspoon of salt and mix well.

Step 3

Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add 80 milliliters of lukewarm water and 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

Step 4

Mix the ingredients together until a dough begins to form.

Step 5

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until it turns smooth and elastic.

Step 6

Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 15 minutes or until it doubles in size.

Step 7

Preheat your oven to 220°C (430°F).

Step 8

While the dough is rising, prepare the toppings by slicing 50 grams of cherry tomatoes in half, chopping 0.25 of a bell pepper, slicing 0.25 of a red onion, and slicing 10 black olives.

Step 9

Once the dough has risen, roll it out on a floured surface to form a small circle, about 15 cm (6 inches) in diameter.

Step 10

Transfer the rolled-out dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Step 11

Spread 60 milliliters of tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

Step 12

Sprinkle 50 grams of shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.

Step 13

Arrange the cherry tomatoes, bell pepper, red onion, and black olives over the cheese.

Step 14

Sprinkle 0.5 teaspoon of dried oregano over the toppings.

Step 15

Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust turns golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

Step 16

Once baked, let the pizza cool for a minute, then garnish with fresh basil leaves.

Step 17

Slice into wedges and serve hot. Enjoy your homemade vegetarian personal pizza!
