  • 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
  • 12 oz vegetarian ground meat substitute
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp, chopped fresh parsley
  • 0.5 cup, grated (optional) parmesan cheese

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Step 2

Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet or saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
