Ingredients

  • 1 pound Pre-made pizza dough
  • 12 pieces Vegetarian meatballs
  • 1 cup Marinara sauce
  • 1.5 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Red bell pepper
  • 0.5 Red onion
  • 10 leaves Fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside.

Step 2

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to a 12-inch circle. Brush olive oil over the surface of the dough, focusing on the edges to create a golden crust.

Step 3

Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving about an inch of the outer edge for the crust.

Step 4

Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.

Step 5

Slice the vegetarian meatballs in halves or quarters, depending on your preference, and distribute them evenly over the pizza.

Step 6

Slice the red bell pepper into thin strips and the red onion into thin rings. Arrange them on top of the pizza.

Step 7

Add the remaining mozzarella cheese and sprinkle the Parmesan cheese for extra flavor.

Step 8

Sprinkle dried oregano, salt, and black pepper evenly over the pizza.

Step 9

Transfer the pizza to the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling and the crust is golden brown.

Step 10

Remove the pizza from the oven and let it sit for a couple of minutes before slicing.

Step 11

Garnish the pizza with fresh basil leaves before serving.

Step 12

Slice into 8 pieces and serve hot.
