Ingredients

  • 2 packages Maggi noodles
  • 2 tablespoons Chili paste
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Kecap manis (sweet soy sauce)
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 medium Onion, sliced
  • 1 medium Carrot, julienned
  • 1 cup Cabbage, shredded
  • 1 medium Red bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 stalks Green onions, chopped
  • 1 whole Lime

Directions

Step 1

Boil the Maggi noodles as per package instructions without using the seasoning packets. Once cooked, drain and set aside.

Step 2

In a small bowl, mix the chili paste, soy sauce, and kecap manis. Set aside.

Step 3

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large wok or frying pan over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and sliced onion to the pan, and sauté until the onion becomes translucent.

Add the julienned carrot, shredded cabbage, and sliced red bell pepper. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, or until the vegetables are slightly softened.

Push the vegetables to the side of the pan and add the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil.

Crack the eggs into the pan and scramble them until fully cooked.
