Ingredients

  • 2 medium, julienned carrots
  • 2 cups, shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup, thinly sliced green beans
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 4 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 small, diced onion
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 25 sheets lumpia wrappers
  • 2 cups (for frying) vegetable oil
  • 0.25 cup (for sealing wrappers) water

Directions

Step 1

Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.

Step 2

Add the minced garlic and diced onions, and sauté until fragrant and translucent, about 2-3 minutes.

Step 3

Stir in the julienned carrots, shredded cabbage, green beans, and bean sprouts. Cook while stirring frequently for about 5-7 minutes, until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.

Step 4

Season the vegetable mixture with soy sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes. Adjust seasoning if needed.

Remove the vegetable mixture from the heat and let it cool for 10-15 minutes.

Prepare the lumpia wrappers on a clean, flat surface. Place 2 tablespoons of the vegetable filling near the bottom of each wrapper.
