  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 pieces pita bread
  • 1 medium cucumber
  • 2 medium tomato
  • 0.5 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 whole lemon
  • 0.25 cup fresh mint

Directions

Step 1

Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas thoroughly, place them into a food processor.

Step 2

Roughly chop the onion and garlic cloves, then add them into the food processor with the chickpeas.

Step 3

Add fresh parsley, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, salt, black pepper, and flour into the food processor.

Pulse the mixture until it forms a coarse paste. Ensure it's well combined but not too smooth.

Divide the chickpea mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each one into a small patty.

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat.
