  • 4 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 2 leaves bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup green lentils, rinsed
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add the diced yellow onion and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened and translucent.
