Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
In a small bowl, combine olive oil, salt, black pepper, dried oregano, and dried basil. Mix well to create the marinade.
Brush the vegetarian chicken fillets on both sides with the marinade. Let them sit while you prepare the tomato sauce.
Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves. Peel and finely chop the onion.
