Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Vegetarian chicken fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Dried basil
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 400 grams Crushed tomatoes
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

Step 2

In a small bowl, combine olive oil, salt, black pepper, dried oregano, and dried basil. Mix well to create the marinade.

Step 3

Brush the vegetarian chicken fillets on both sides with the marinade. Let them sit while you prepare the tomato sauce.

Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves. Peel and finely chop the onion.

In a medium saucepan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until it becomes translucent, about 5 minutes.
