Directions

Step 1

Clean the king oyster mushrooms with a damp paper towel and pat them dry. Slice them into 1/2-inch thick rounds that resemble scallops.

Step 2

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the mushroom slices and sear each side for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

Mince the garlic cloves finely.
