  • 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 50 grams Fresh Spinach Leaves

  • 0.25 teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

Step 2

Slice the croissants in half horizontally but not all the way through, leaving a hinge.

Step 3

Spread about half a tablespoon of Dijon mustard on the bottom half of each croissant.

Step 4

Layer two slices of vegetarian ham on top of the mustard for each croissant.

Step 5

Grate the cheddar and provolone cheese and mix together in a bowl.

Step 6

Sprinkle a generous amount of mixed cheeses over the vegetarian ham slices in each croissant.

Step 7

Add a few fresh spinach leaves on top of the cheese for each croissant.

Step 8

Season with a pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Step 9

Close the croissants and gently press them down.

Step 10

Place a baking sheet over a baking tray and arrange the filled croissants on the sheet.

Step 11

Melt the butter in a small saucepan or microwave it in a microwave-safe bowl.

Step 12

Brush the tops of the croissants with the melted butter to help them crisp up and develop a beautiful golden color.

Step 13

Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes until the croissants are golden brown and the cheese inside is melted and bubbly.

Step 14

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
