Ingredients

  • 2 cups Hearts of palm
  • 1 cup Chickpeas
  • 1 sheet Nori sheets

  • 2 stalks Green onions
  • 3 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1.5 cups Breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1

Drain and rinse the hearts of palm and chickpeas. Pat dry with a towel to remove excess moisture.

Step 2

Place the hearts of palm and chickpeas in a food processor. Pulse until they are finely chopped but not pureed. The texture should be somewhat chunky.

Cut the nori sheet into small pieces and add to the food processor along with chopped red bell pepper and green onions. Pulse briefly to combine.
