Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Nutritional yeast

  • 0.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 0.25 cup Water
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1

Drain the tofu and press it under a heavy object for at least 15 minutes to remove excess moisture.

Slice the pressed tofu into rectangles about 1/4 inch thick to resemble slices of Spam.

Step 3

In a shallow dish, mix together the nutritional yeast, soy sauce, liquid smoke, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Add the tofu slices and coat them well in the marinade. Let sit for 10 minutes.
