Ingredients

  • 300 grams Plant-based beef strips
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger, minced
  • 1 cup Broccoli florets
  • 1 Red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 Carrot, julienned
  • 1 cup Snow peas
  • 2 Green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds

Directions

Step 1

In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Add the plant-based beef strips and marinate for 10 minutes.

Step 2

In a small bowl, combine cornstarch and water to make a slurry. Set aside.

Step 3

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Step 4

Add the marinated plant-based beef strips to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Step 5

In the same skillet, add broccoli florets and stir-fry for 2 minutes.

Step 6

Add red bell pepper, carrot, and snow peas to the skillet. Stir-fry for another 3 minutes until vegetables are slightly tender.

Return the plant-based beef strips to the skillet with the vegetables.

Stir the cornstarch slurry and add it to the skillet. Cook for an additional minute or until the sauce thickens.

Add chopped green onions and give everything a good stir.

Sprinkle sesame seeds over the top before serving.
