  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp Taco seasoning mix
  • 1 cup Tomato sauce
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper
  • 8 Corn tortillas
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded

Step 6

Season with salt and black pepper, and simmer for another 3-5 minutes until the mixture thickens slightly.

Step 7

Heat the corn tortillas in a separate dry skillet over medium-high heat for about 30 seconds on each side, or until warm and pliable.

Step 8

To assemble the tacos, place a generous spoonful of the 'beef' mixture onto each tortilla.

Step 9

Top with shredded cheddar cheese, lettuce, diced tomatoes, and a dollop of sour cream.

Step 10

Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro and serve with lime wedges on the side.

Step 11
