  • 12 ounces plant-based ground beef substitute
  • 6 ounces, shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large hoagie rolls
  • 1 cup, shredded lettuce
  • 1 large, sliced tomato
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce

Directions

Step 1

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and green bell pepper and sauté for about 5 minutes until they begin to soften.

Step 2

Add the chopped mushrooms to the skillet and continue to sauté for another 5 minutes. Stir in the smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
